Customs clearance in the import and export processes is necessary to register goods in the computer system of the Brazilian Customs (Receita Federal do Brasil), as well as to provide the documents regarding the process. A customs broker duly registered in the Brazilian Customs system does the procedure. With this, the operation is centralized, the flow of the whole process becomes smoother and the risks and complications that may occur are eased.
